Dedimi.com : How it Works!
How To : Enter Dedimi.com Competitions
1. Become a member by creating your Dedimi.com user account;
2. Purchase token(s);
3. In order to enter the competition you must answer a question. The question is related to the item’s category, for example if the item related to the competition is a car the question will be related to vehicles as cars are placed under the vehicles category. It is a multiple choice question with only one correct answer. You will then choose how many tokens you wish to enter into the competition; if you have chosen correctly, your tokens will be entered into the competition with a chance of winning the item, if you choose incorrectly, your tokens will be entered into the competition but you will have no chance of winning the item with that particular entry.
4. While answering the question the user will have the option to select the amount of tokens to use on the competition (ranges vary from item to item). Please note that this is the only time the user will be able to add tokens to the competition under this question. Members are allowed to enter the competition(s) as many times as they want, but this will be entirely a new competition with a new question to be answered (which may not be the same as the previous question).
5. Competitions run for 7 days (168 hours) after the item has been added. In the event that not enough token(s) were raised at the session check to end the competition, the competition will be automatically extended for another 7 days (168 hours). All competitor(s) will be notified of the competition result via email and /or via message on member account, once the competition has ended and a winner has been drawn.
How To : Purchase item's from other Members
1. Select the item that you want to purchase, click on “buy now” button and log in your account. If you do not have an account you can create one and use it straight away;
2. Agree with seller’s term and conditions of sale, for more details read the sellers item descirption carefully.
3. Agree with all Dedimi Terms and Conditions;
4. Choose your preferred payment method and pay for the item;
5. Once Dedimi has received the item(s) payment, the item status will be shown on the buyer account as waiting for delivery. As soon as, the item has been received the buyer must log in to their account and update the delivery status to “item received”. The transaction then will be considerate complete and the seller will be able to use the money received. The item on the seller’s account will no longer be shown as pending. How it Works : Competition Rules!
1. A Dedimi Account is necessary to enter competitions;
2. Members can only use their own Dedimi account to enter competitions;
3. All competitors must be 18 years old or over, unless stated otherwise;
4. There is no limit on how many times a Dedimi Member can enter the same competition;
5. All competitors must agree with Dedimi Terms and Conditions and any other Dedimi Rules;
6. Members must have at least one token to enter a competition;
7. Members can see the question prior entering the competition and will not lose a token if decided to not enter the competition ;
8. All items will have a reserve price originated from the item’s price plus the delivery costs to UK(registered delivery);
9. The competition will start immediately (please see user agreement for more details);
10. All competitions duration are 7 days long and automatically renewed for another 7 days.
11. The competition will end at the end of the 7 days period if It has reached the minimum amount of tokens reserved and the winner has been announced, if item has been sold through buy it now , or when the user remove listed, or for unforeseen circumstances the item is no longer available. Please see user agreement and user score rules for more details;
12. In cases where the competition has been cancelled i.e. because the item has been sold or damaged. All participants will have their tokens credited back according to the amount of token placed on the competition in question;
13. All estimated deliveries must include registered deliveries and quoted for delivery on whole UK;
14. The money collected for the competition will be sent to the seller together with the delivery fee. In case of the total collections be bigger than the item price, the excess will be split in equal halves between the user that listed the item and Dedimi.com.
15. The site uses a secure and Truely Random electronic prize draw.
